Transition Networks to Present on Accelerating Ethernet Service Delivery with Scale & Enhanced Customer Experience at Ethernet Europe 2013
Posted by CSI on April 9th, 2013
Minneapolis, MN — April 9, 2013 — Transition Networks Inc., the fiber networking technology expert, a wholly owned subsidiary of Communications Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: JCS), announced today that Sr. Product Manager, Jon Collins, will be presenting on the “Accelerating Ethernet Service Delivery with Scale & Enhanced Customer Experience” panel discussion during Light Reading’s Ethernet Europe Conference. The panel presentation is Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. CEST. The Ethernet Europe Conference takes place April 16-17, 2013 at the Marriott Frankfurt Hotel in Frankfurt, Germany.
The panel will cover the explosive market growth, more sophisticated customer expectations, and real-time requirements for cloud and mobile backhaul. Speakers will explain how operators can take advantage of new solutions like unified service management platforms, service activation testing platforms, and virtual NIDs to automate the entire service delivery process and ensure faster, simpler, and more reliable rollout of Ethernet services. The discussion will also include key strategies for simplifying the delivery of Ethernet services in a complex, ever-evolving multivendor network to enable flow-through automation, real-time QoS, bandwidth updates, and delivery SLAs.
Ethernet Europe 2013 is the premier event covering the topic of Carrier Ethernet network technologies and services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Building upon the success of last year’s collocation, Ethernet Europe is once again teaming up with the MEF’s Quarterly Meeting, to produce a collocated event in mainland Europe.
Under the theme of “SDN, CE 2.0, and the Cloud Converge”, Ethernet Europe will focus primarily on the following topics:
How SDN / network virtualization promise to reshape the services & network landscape
Ethernet cloud carrier & Ethernet-enabled cloud services
Advanced Ethernet business & wholesale services
Mobile backhaul services and infrastructure (including LTE & small cell backhaul)
Next-generation technologies enabling a more dynamic network, including: SDN/OpenFlow, end-to-end service management; 100GE; 100G & Terabit transport; MPLS/MPLS-TP; packet optical; security; access; and other solutions.
